ADF 2014 award for innovation
This technology uses newly-extracted teeth and turns them into dentine particles. The cleaned tooth is placed in the sterile Smart Dentin Grinder grinding chamber, which grinds and then sorts the particles. Immersed in a decontaminant solution and then rinsed with a saline solution, the particles are then ready to be transplanted into the alveolus (tooth socket) of the extracted tooth or are used to treat bone defects.
This is the fruit of diligent research which brought to light the dentine’s suitability as autologous transplant material.
